European tuning experts MEC Design are please to show off their new bodykit for the Mercedes-Benz S Class.

The MEC Design S-Class bodykit is a 2face system which allows the customer the choice of having the front bumper with driving lights and fog lights or with just mesh. At the rear the customer can also choose between having the sporty looking diffusor or to go with the more refined elegant diffusor. The side skirts continue the beautiful lines and are available with or without LED lighting (5 per side) which is linked up to the internal lighting. As soon as it came on the market, the car has already been refined. For the first time, the Spanish VW subsidiary Seat presents a limousine for which JE DESIGN immediately offers a sport suit.

With the entire body kit the middle class limousine turns into a sports car with four doors. The new sport radiator grill (199 euros including VAT) and the front spoiler (379 euros) give the Exeo a significantly grimmer face. The side skirts (399 euros) emphasise the dynamic wedge shape. The diffuser panel in carbon look (299 euros) gives the car a sporty rear section.

It was paramount for edo competition to turn the Bentley Continental into the world’s fastest GT. Consequentially, particular attention was paid to the engine modifications and all associated components. In factory trim the Bentley reaches a top speed of 326 km/h (203 mph) with 610 horsepower. Since this provided a good starting point for the edo speed GT, the power output of the 6.0-liter W12 engine was increased to 680 horsepower, making edo competition’s offering the most powerful GT in the world. While it was derided at first, the Smart has since evolved into a hip cult-car – even in “big block” USA. Its success story is no surprise: the defiant small car still embodies the principles of good economic and ecological sense while being completely free of a “piggy-bank look” and “everyman design”. Consequently it suits the times perfectly. So why is Sportservice Lorinser forecasting a dark future for the Smart? Because black is suiting the dynamic light metal alloys Speedy perfectly.

In black mat and with a contrasting polished rim, the large 7 x 17 inch (front axle) and 8.5 x 17 inch (rear axle) wheels provide the perfect basis for a smart racer and for tyres with the dimensions 205/40 R17 or 225/35 R17. The wide bases don’t just look great, but also give the Lorinser performance improvements sufficient traction on up to 101 HP. With the Speedy wheels, however, the Smart radiates an even more dynamic aura, even before it drives out of a parking space. Six curved spokes are alluding to the classic Lorinser turbine alloys, without losing their fully independent look. If the customer does not, however, like the “black” look: the Speedy family is also available in a further two surface designs, chrome and silver. The perfect accessories to give the Smart a “wide basis” – just like the sporty Lorinser chassis kit.

And with regards to the black Speedy: a "small black" has already revolutionised the fashion scene once, now the "small one with black bits” is setting trends in the Smart world.
