The new VW Polo (Typ 6R) has only just entered the market and KW automotive already offers four different coilover suspensions for the Volkswagen.

Variant 1 with solid damping control and a TÜV-approved lowering in an adjustment range from 35 to 65 millimetres, the KW coilover suspension Variant 1 offers an optimal balance between sportiness, comfort and safety. In the version basic, the suspension is delivered zinc-plated. The version inox-line with its stainless steel casing guarantees a long durability, even when the car is driven very dynamically and also used in winter.

In Variant 2, the coilover suspension is delivered in the stainless steel technology inox-line with an adjustable rebound damping. This is the ideal system for the dynamic driver who does not only seek an individual lowering, but also wishes to make adjustments in the set-up. With the adjustable rebound damping, the driving impression can be optimally adapted to the personal requirements.

For the performance-oriented driver, KW automotive additionally offers Variant 3 in stainless steel technology inox-line for the new Polo. The technology used in Variant 3 is derived from motor sports and offers best performance and a high comfort – according to the individual adjustment. The separate and independently adjustable rebound- and compression damping allows absolutely individual suspension adjustments. The unique patented system with its each two-stage valves allows a rebound damping- (comfort) and a compression damping adjustment (driving dynamics) in the low-speed range while the high-speed range which is responsible for driving safety is fixed.

The KW coilover suspensions for the new VW Polo are available already from 799 Euro including VAT. Of course, a certificate for a trouble-free registration with the Technical Control Board (TÜV) is included in the delivery, as well as a detailed instruction for assembly and adjustment.

VW tuning specialist JE DESIGN from Leingarten/Germany presents now a complete styling suite for the new VW Touareg type 7 L (facelifted).

The Touareg R 5 has been given a performance boost, which increases the basic power of the 2.5 l TDI engine from 128 kW / 174 bhp to 152 kW / 206 bhp. Following this performance enhancement, the maximum torque goes up to 460 Nm. JE DESIGN also supplies a performance enhancement package for the Touareg V 10 5.0 TDI, which gives the brawny VW 259 kW / 352 bhp, equating to an increase of 29 kW / 39 bhp. Following this enhancement, the maximum torque is increased from 750 Nm to 855 Nm. Placed between R 5 and V 10, the 3.0 V6 TDI completes the available engine offering. 165 kW / 225 bhp and 500 Nm are the standard values of this engine. A power plus of 45 kW and a torque increased by 50 Nm propel the Touareg in 8,9 seconds from zero to 100 km/h (standard: 9,9 sec) and enable a top speed of 207 km/h (plus 6 km/h). (more…)

Powered by a detuned version of the new 2.0 T-FSI power plant from the current Audi S3, the limited edition VW Golf GTI Edition 30 is, with 230 hp (DIN), already well powered. OETTINGER, the Audi and VW specialist from Friedrichsdorf, who participated in the success of the original GTI in 1976 with the worldwide first 16V engine, now offer the owners of such vehicles a considerable portion of additional power available in 2 stages. 30 years later it is once again the OETTINGER version which shows the remaining members of the special edition clan a clean set of rear lamps.
