Eibach and the MINI One

Eibach Mini One
With the MINI One, suspension specialist Eibach shows how up-to-date driving pleasure has to look: namely, anyone who thinks that HP alone make a car sporty only needs to watch old US action films, where 300 HP muscle cars clumsily slid round the bends. The MINI was put together back in the Sixties according to a quite different recipe. It had virtually nothing under the bonnet, but the MINI Cooper flattened the assembled HP-elite at the Monte Carlo Rally - and not just once. Its secret: manoeuvrable proportions, low weight, and a well-designed suspension. A combination that appears more contemporary than ever in these times of high fuel and car prices and growing environmental consciousness. (more…)

Mi2 Wheel for the MINI

MI2 wheel

Dark shoulders, muscular body: the new Mi2 one-piece alloy wheels from AC Schnitzer are the ideal companion for both generations of Mini. One, Cooper or Cooper S, hard top or convertible.

Four pairs of straight spokes in V-shaped groupings suggest a sophisticated mixture of racing flair and luxury. The original bicolor finish, achieved by the inner hub painted black up to the polished rim, adds a dash of daring. Qualities which caracterised even the first MINIs at the end of the 50s. Where the original design had to settle for 10′’ and later 12′’ wheels, AC Schnitzer offers the Mi2 wheels in a size of 7.5x18′’ offset 50 which is more in keeping with the latest Mini and which perfectly fills the wheelarch. New Mini with the individual HAMANN touch

Hamann Mini
The original Mini was known among other things for its go-kart-like handling. BMW has managed to transport precisely that into the new age, with the new edition of 2001. And the recently launched 2006 generation once again sparkles with the typical Mini characteristics. And HAMANN has of course once again taken on the current model. The Brit from Bavaria not only looks different after its visit to the health farm in Laupheim. The HAMANN Mini also sounds better, and drives with even more agility. (more…)
